How the GoRoostr Selling Process Works
If you are interested in getting the most value back for your Apple device then you have come to the right place. In order to begin the selling process, we will walk you through a series of three easy steps. Don’t worry if you are short on time, we estimate most of this will take less than 5 minutes of your time!

Step 1: Get your free price quote
First, answer our question on our homepage: “What are you selling?” And then click the corresponding icon.
You should be able to select your Apple device from one of our 7 icon options on the homepage. You can also simply click the “Sell Your Device” button at the top of the page.
After selecting your device you will be prompted to add a few bits of information which will vary based upon device.
Selling your iPhone or iPad
● Model: For example, iPhone X
● Carrier: Select 1 of the 4 major United States carriers, or Unlocked
● Size: Storage capacity, such as 256GB
● Operating condition: If your device turns on and is fully functional then it is considered “working.” If your device does not turn on or has connectivity issues, such as a broken camera or buttons, it is considered “broken”.
● Device condition: This step is extremely important. In order to accurately evaluate your device, we ask you to please remove all screen protectors, cases, and covers. This is because your device might look great while in a case, but after we remove the case we could find it with scratches, dents, or other imperfections. This will change the value of your device. Please also gently wipe your device's screen with a microfiber cloth to properly evaluate its condition. GoRoostr's guarantee is for the bare device and the condition it's in without any type of cover, screen protector, and/or case.
● Additional information: Although your device may be in working order, the screen might have issues. Decide whether the screen is in “good condition”, is “broken or cracked,” or “has bright spots or dead pixels.” You should also let us know if you have the original box (in good condition), as well as a genuine charger. This can increase the value of your device.
● iCloud/Financial status: We want to make sure that you own your device. This means we do not accept blacklisted devices, devices still currently being financed, or devices that are unable to be accessed through your iCloud. We ask you here to confirm that you are the sole owner in possession of your device and account.

Selling your 12" MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air
● Serial number: This is the most accurate way to give you a quote, and to determine the type of MacBook you have. But your serial number is not needed to receive a quote If you are struggling to find the serial number, you can click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your MacBook, then select "About This Mac". Or to get a quote without a serial number simply skip to "device details".
● Device details: Input your specs from your MacBook. This will include the year, screen size, and model of your MacBook. If you aren’t sure of your device details, these can also be found under "About This Mac".
● Hard drive size and RAM: This information can also be found where you find your device details. It should look something similar to 256GB SSD Hard drive, and 8GB RAM.
● Operating condition: If your MacBook turns on and is fully functional then it is considered “working.” It may have minor issues such as a bad hard drive, broken screen or bad battery, but cannot have water damage. If your MacBook does not turn on or has any form of liquid damage, it is considered “broken”.
● Device condition: This step is extremely important. In order to give you an accurate quote for your MacBook, we ask you to please remove all screen protectors, cases, and covers. This is because your device might look great while in a case, but after we remove the case we could find it with scratches, dents, or other imperfections. This will change the value of your device. Please also gently wipe your device's screen with a microfiber cloth to properly evaluate its condition. GoRoostr's guarantee is for the bare device and the condition it's in without any type of cover, screen protector, and/or case.
● Additional information: These small, additional, details are what will increase and decrease the value of your MacBook. Here you will be asked to explain the condition of your battery, as well as the trackpad, keyboard, and screen condition. You should also let us know if you have the original box (in good condition), as well as a genuine charger because this can increase the value of your device.

Selling your Apple TV
● Model: For example, Apple TV 4th Gen. (Siri) 32GB
● Device condition: With Apple TVs there are three options to classify your device: new/like new, good, or poor.
● Additional information: Let us know what you can include with your Apple TV. Do you have the power cord? What about the remote? These will increase the value of your device.

Selling your Apple Watch
● Device details: This will include the type, model, size, and band. For example, Series 2, Nike+, 38mm, Sport.
● Device condition: In order to accurately evaluate your device, we ask you to please remove all screen protectors, cases, and covers. This is because your device might look great while in a case, but after we remove the case we could find it with scratches, dents, or other imperfections. This will change the value of your device. Please also gently wipe your device's screen with a microfiber cloth to properly evaluate its condition. GoRoostr's guarantee is for the bare device and the condition it's in without any type of cover, screen protector, and/or case. You will need to decide if your device is classified as new/like new, very good/above average, average, below average, or poor.
● Additional information: Your Apple watch might turn on, but is it fully functional? You also need to outline whether the screen “works perfectly and good condition”, is “broken or cracked,” or “has bright spots or dead pixels.” You should also let us know if you have the original box and charger. This can increase the value of your Apple Watch.
● iCloud/Financial status: We want to make sure that you own your Apple Watch. This means we do not accept blacklisted devices, devices still currently being financed, or devices that are unable to be accessed through your iCloud. We ask you here to confirm that you are the sole owner in possession of your Apple Watch and account.

After seeing your quote
If you agree to your quote, on the following page you simply input your information, select how you would like to be paid, and then you can lock in your price offer for the next 14 days. We offer 4 types of payment: Choose from Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or a check. Get paid the way you want, with no fees whatsoever!

Step 2: Prepare your device and ship it off
Next, you will be taken to an order confirmation page which will instruct you how to prepare your device and package it well. We will also send you an email with the same instructions.
At this point your only responsibilities are to package your device well, and drop off your device at any FedEx drop off location. Don’t reach for your wallet because we pay for the shipping transit costs! We provide you with a free pre-paid and fully insured FedEx label. The only time it will cost you anything is if you don't have a box or bubble wrap to reuse.
Throughout this process there is absolutely no risk or obligation to sell. You will have 14 days to ship your device. The faster you ship your device, the faster you will be paid.
Change your mind after shipping? You can cancel anytime before your payment is issued and we will send your device back to you for free!

Step 3: Get paid fast!
As soon as your device arrives at our facility we will begin processing it, and send an email to update you. In case you have forgotten to wipe your device of any personal information, we also fully erase all devices to ensure your data is 100% safe and destroyed. Just make sure to detach "Find My" from your device prior to sending it in to not delay processing.
We always process devices and issue payments within 1 business day of their arrival, so you will never be waiting to get paid! We offer payments through Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or even a company check (via first class mail w/ tracking provided!). Remember, there are no fees associated with any of our payment options!
