When does my offer expire and how soon do I have to ship my device?

After placing a sale an Apple device has to be shipped to us within 10 business days from the time of your order for your offer to be valid. Transit time itself doesn't matter and it's just a matter of getting it into FedEx possession before the offer expiration. If you get your order into FedEx possession anytime before your offer expiration date you will be good to go! But if your device is given to FedEx past the offer expiration date and the price has changed on our website your quote may be revised at our discretion. We recommend placing a new order if it is beyond the 10 business day mark which will then provide you with a new FedEx label to use.

What if my device is different from what I selected or if I wasn't sure?

When we receive your device we check the condition, functionality, and specifications against how it was selected when you received your price quote. If it does not match we will email you to explain everything, provide pictures if needed, and give you a revised quote. Then you have the option to accept the revised price quote or to have us send the device back to you at absolutely no cost (we'll pay for the shipping). We are honest and fair and will always do our best to work with customers if something is not as expected. The only time you may be liable for return shipping is if an item is blatantly misrepresented and it is something we do not purchase.

How long will it take for me to get paid and are there any fees for receiving a payment?

Within 1 business day of receiving your Apple device your payment will be sent. Check payments are mailed via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking provided and take 2 to 4 business days to be received once mailed. PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle payments are sent to the account specified at the time of placing a sale and are received instantly once sent. There are absolutely no fees associated with any of our payment methods, unless you have a PayPal business account - at which point we will let you know. No other buyback company pays customers faster than us!

Can you send me a box?

Because of the time and resources involved we unfortunately cannot provide a box, but a free pre-paid FedEx shipping label & great packaging instructions will be provided to you upon order submission.

What happens if my package gets damaged in shipping?

All packages shipped with our free provided FedEx label are fully insured for the full quoted amount. As long as it's properly packaged as per FedEx's service guide, it will be covered in the rare case any damage occurs during shipment. More details on FedEx's packaging instructions can be found here

What do you do with my Data/Hard Drive?

We are a secure R2v3 Certified facility. We fully format/wipe each and every Apple device we receive to NIST 800-88 standards, and it is one of the first steps we do when a device arrives. Data erasure and/or diagnostic reports are available for every device by request! Your data is safe and secure with us, guaranteed! Please just make sure to back-up any data you still need prior to sending a device to us as once we wipe it here there will be no way to retrieve the data anymore.

Do you buy Apple devices in any condition? Even if they are broken or liquid damaged?

Yes, we buy MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, etc. in almost any physical condition no matter if they are new, used, and for MacBooks we buy them even if they are broken or have liquid spill damage. But the Apple device you are selling cannot be previously tampered with or have attempted repairs. If there have been any attempted repairs or missing parts (aside from removing a removable Hard Drive) we cannot purchase it. We also cannot purchase any iPhones or iPads that are broken or have a bad/broken Touch ID sensor or Face ID camera.

If it is determined there are no salvageable parts (severe liquid damage, badly bent body, etc.) we may not be able to purchase your device. Please contact us if you are unsure if your device qualifies.

Does an engraving affect the value of my iPad?

An engraving does affect value, but the exact amount depends on your iPad model. Please reach out to us if your iPad is engraved so we can determine what the price difference would be.

Do you purchase iCloud locked, Firmware locked, or Managed devices?

We cannot purchase any devices that are either iCloud locked, Firmware locked, or remotely managed. Please remove/disconnect any locks prior to sending devices in.

Will you buy my device if I live outside the United States?

Sorry, we currently only accept items from U.S. customers only. We may extend purchases to other places in the near future.

Do you buy MacBooks with a non U.S. English keyboard?

Yes, we do! When receiving a quote on our website just make sure to select "Has an issue or is non-U.S. English version" under the keyboard selection.

Which type of Apple devices do you buy?

You can currently sell any type of MacBook (MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air), iPhone, and iPad directly on our site using our instant quote calculator. We also buyback the Apple Watch, Mac Mini, iMac, iMac Pro, Mac Studio, Mac Pro, Studio Display, and Pro Display XDR. We are currently in the process of adding those devices to our instant quote calculator, but in the meantime just contact us to receive a trade in quote on them. We also buy Apple devices in bulk, and to sell in bulk please visit our Apple bulk buyback program here

When selling my broken MacBook why do you ask if the MacBook is liquid damaged but then also if the screen is liquid damaged?

The majority of the time when a MacBook is liquid damaged the screen is not affected. But once in a while a MacBook's screen (or screen connectors) can sustain liquid damage along with the MacBook itself. The first liquid damage question during the quote process pertains to the MacBook itself (such as the logic board or internal parts) and doesn't account for the screen. The reason we separate liquid damage for MacBooks and their screens is because when we purchase a liquid damaged MacBook we either refurbish it or use it for parts, and the screen is one of the most valuable parts. So if the screen (or screen connections) are also damaged in addition to the MacBook, it greatly affects the value.

If you are unsure about your screen being liquid damaged please just select it as good condition and we will just inspect it once it arrives. Chances are your screen is fine, but if there is an issue we'll let you know how it affects your MacBooks value.

My iPhone/iPad has aftermarket parts, will this cause an issue?

If your iPhone/iPad is displaying error messages in regards to replacement parts, then we unfortunately cannot purchase your device. The error message will appear in the Settings App on your device.

What type of payment methods do you offer and what information do you need for them?

We offer 4 different payment methods: Company check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle! The information needed for each payment method is:

Company check: The name you would like your check printed to.

Venmo: The phone number attached and confirmed to your Venmo account. Important: If you recently got a new phone number or are unsure if your phone number is linked to your Venmo account, please be sure to confirm the phone number in the Venmo App before we send your payment. You will also be asked to send your Venmo QR code via email after we receive your device.

PayPal: Your PayPal email address.

Zelle: Your Zelle email address.

Can I sell to you from AK, HI, or a U.S. territory?

Yes, but we are not able to provide a shipping label for you. Due to the cost of shipping from Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, we sadly cannot provide a prepaid shipping label. But what we do ask is for you to reach out to us so we can then go over the details of getting your device to us.

How can I trust you are legitimate and know that I won't get scammed?

We used to get this question a lot when we first started and still get it to this day (albeit much less frequently). So this is what we usually tell people when they ask this: We have been in business since 2012, and have been accredited by the BBB with an A+ rating since 2013. We have thousands of reviews online, and if you Google our name you will find many of them. We are R2v3 Certified which is no easy task. Simply put, if we were not legitimate we would have been out of business a long time ago. Our goal is to turn first-time customers into lifelong customers with top notch service, and the highest price for your device. We hope you tell all of your family and friends about us!
