While the bulk process is very similar to our normal selling process, there are a few things you want to know about your Apple devices before you send them in. The two most important things to know are; is my device working or broken and what condition is it in. In this article I will break down what we consider to be working or broken and each of our conditions for MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.

Working or Broken?

The first thing you need to know about your device is whether it works or not. Determining the functionality of your device will ensure you get an accurate quote for each of them.

MacBooks:

Working: Must turn on and run fine. All ports must work. Cannot have any liquid damage. A working MacBook may have certain issues such as a broken screen, bad battery, or faulty keyboard/trackpad (not including Touch ID), as long as the issue is properly selected in the next steps. If your issue is not listed please contact us.

Broken: Does not turn on or work properly, has a bad logic board, broken Touch ID, or has some liquid damage. Please note: We cannot accept MacBooks that have been tampered with, have had previous repair attempts, or are severely liquid damaged with no reusable parts.

iPhone/iPad/Apple Watch:

Working: Must turn on and be fully functional. Cannot have any liquid damage. A working device may have certain issues such as a broken screen, bad battery, or blown speakers, as long as the issue is properly selected in the next steps. If your issue is not listed please contact us.

Broken: Does not turn on, has any functional/connectivity issues, or has any liquid damage. Functional issues may include one or more of the following but are not limited to: port or charging issues, WiFi, Cellular, Bluetooth, Microphone etc.

Please keep in mind for mobile devices that at this time we cannot purchase them broken and if they have a bad or broken Touch ID sensor, Face ID camera, or have aftermarket parts.

Conditions:

Now that you have figured out if your device is working or broken, the next step is to determine the physical condition. It is very important to keep our descriptions for condition in mind when selecting it.
